As per previousadvice, practices may only levy reasonable service charges, not rental income, on any parts of their premises for which they are receiving rent re-imbursement, cost rent or notional rent.
A matter has come to our attention concerning difficulties in obtaining payment from Birmingham Healthy Minds for their use of consulting rooms at practice premises. As this organisation is not a primary care service, but a secondary care Mental Health Service that is commissioned by the CCGs, it is in order to charge for the use of accommodation and associated services.
Invoices for payment should be sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org marked for the attention of Richard Prescod, Purchase Ledger Manager. You will also need to request and complete the “supplier set-up form” to enable a claim to be made.
