Practice Manager Advisor
I would like to introduce myself and provide you with an update of the support that Birmingham LMC will be providing for Managers and Practices in the future.
For those of you that already know me you will be aware that over the past eight years we have worked together on and off to provide training and support for Managers who we know are dealing with the day to day pressures of General Practice.
I have now taken up the role of Practice Support & Liaison Manager working extra hours for the Birmingham LMC. The main aim of this role is to provide advice, guidance and support for constituent GPs, Managers and other relevant practice staff. I will also be supporting Dr Morley advising practices on managerial and business issues. I also intend to manage and foster further development of the Birmingham Practice Managers Association. This would include enhancing training for Managers. I would also like to consider setting up a BLMC PM Forum so that Managers can come together to network and discuss issues and problems that we are all currently undergoing regarding the day to day running of General Practice. We may even be able to come up with some solutions to some of the everyday problems that we are facing!
I will be available at the Birmingham LMC on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. .
