Please find attached a link for the documentation for the scheme. The scheme will formally launch tomorrow, 1st of July, but applies to all new clinical partners from 1st April 2020.

You will note that the application form states ‘draft’ which is because NHSEI is accepting applications from tomorrow, and so an operational version which can be submitted as an application will be placed on the site first thing tomorrow morning.
Initially it has not been possible to include practice managers owing to potential tax penalties under final pay controls to the practice. The payment is now structured so that is not superannuable and this enables circumvention the issue with final pay controls. This will make it possible to explore how to include non-clinical partners in the scheme. At present it applies to registered clinicians only.
