Please note that as from 1st July the emergency regulations that relate to General Practice have lapsed. The GPC are in discussion with NHSE/I about what arrangements will be considered for the remainder of the year in preparation for a second wave (or the impact of local outbreaks as we are already seeing).
In the meantime the CCAS 1/500 appointment slots can now revert back to the 1/3000 which formed part of Practices original contractual obligation:
one appointment per 3,000 registered patients per day should be made available to NHS 111 for direct appointment booking
Of course, if you would like to continue to maintain the 1/500 slots per day whilst awaiting the outcome of the NHS guidance, then this is entirely up to the practice if you wish to do so.
